East Falls Train Station | Collaborative Project with Interior Design
For the community of East Falls, the train station proved to be an eyesore. The outdated trailer is in bad shape and the site is an excellent opportunity for urban renewal. The task at hand was to create a new train station that fit within the context of the neighborhood and responded to the needs of the people while fitting in with the more strict regulations of SEPTA. This proved challenging as not only did this project have real clients with real demands but that it was a collaboration. Between myself, a fellow architecture student and two interior design students, we worked to come up with a design that was suitable to the need.
